Inner Cell Phone is certainly a unique title for a song, and I found it intriguing when I first heard about it. As it turned out, the song was more than just intriguing, but had a great message. Hat's off to Kris for a wonderful song and a great voice to go with it.

Kris Miller is probably the most devout person I know. Born in Long Beach, California, at age 17, she was called to live the life of Christ and travelled like the disciples 2000 years ago, with just a minimum of possessions barefoot and dressed in white robes. She was totally dependant on God to supply her daily needs and devoted her life to helping others. Her travels took her all over the world and through these experiences came songs of faith and inspiration. After many years of travelling Kris now lives in Hemet, California where she gives freely of her time to help other and pursue a musical ministry. Her first album, “Alive and Well”, received many plaudits from the music industry and subsequently Kris has won several song writing awards Alongside writing songs that bring hope and comfort to millions of people throughout the world, Kris also leads Pure Righteousness, an a cappella choir that performs in prisons, churches, nursing homes and on radio and television. Kris’s new album, “The Journey Home (Dove) has fifteen songs that are inspiring, instructive and beautifully performed, in fact, everything that a Gospel album should be. Songs like “Gotta Believe”, “God Knows”, “Jesus Lives” and “Walking Among Us” will instantly appeal to all lovers of the Gospel genre. www.krismillermusic.com
Kris is promoted by RhonBob Promotions who strives hard to get their artists not only airplay, but attention in any way possible whether it is the artists newspapers, over 2800 DJ's worldwide, and talking with DJ's around the world.
Kris Miller Inner cell phone review in uk
Starts off with a catchy guitar riff, bounces along with a cute play on our modern communications medium of cell phones. Will get good airplay on lots of country gospel and mainstream country stations.

Oh my God Kris, this song is amazing and you can feel the heart in it.
Thank you for sending this song, it made my day. I have been feeling so stressed out trying to do all this by myself (I know that the angels are with me), but I'm feeling the stretch but I know the outcome will be all good for the level of musicianship I would like to get to.
Love the song my Brothers Keeper. Great Song!

Hi Kris,
I am excited for you to come back to Puerta la Cruz Women's Prison. I'm sure you can believe it, but some of the women that saw you when you came asked if you could come back. I was hoping you could do a concert and share your testimony.
God bless you, my sister,

Hi Kris!
I’m sure that my name doesn’t ring any bells with you, but actually I am in your video Inner Cell Phone to Jesus. I am Mary Fay Jackson’s cousin that was in a wheel chair with a broken foot at the ICM conference.
I watched your press video today and felt led to drop you a note. I want you to know that your testimony touched me. I worked for the Texas Criminal Justice system as a chaplain for the Texas Youth Commission for about 10 years. I love to hear “overcoming” testimonies! Your story is quiet extraordinary. It is not surprising that you are being blessed in your ministry!
I saw your video on the Gospel Music Channel’s “Kitchen Sink” program this weekend. I’m so proud for you! May God continue to bless all you put your hand to!
In His love,
Pamela Wiebe
Thank you for all you are doing in the world - you seem like a bright light and we need those!
Peace indeed,
Mary

Personally, between you and me, I LOVE this song and video! I think this is some of your best work ever, and I'm so happy to be a small part of team. I'm going to shout it from the roof tops! But seriously, I am going to be pushing real hard with the TV networks to get this on the air, and as many radio stations as I can.

Alive and Well
Don't be fooled by that innocuous album cover, making it seem like this record is some sort of easy-listening effort that is often the soundtrack of office cubicles. It had me expecting something along the lines of Debbie Boone, but that is definitely not the case here. Singer/songwriter Kris Miller is one prolific artist, having already written over 500 tunes. That's quite an accomplishment. However, what's even more impressive is how she is able to take Christian lyrics and use them for musical genres - blues, psychedelic rock - that one never associates with songs about God. Instead of playing it safe, Miller takes chances, incorporating blues and '60s psychedelia in her tunes praising the Lord. It's very refreshing to hear a Christian musician break out of the box, venturing beyond the gloss-painted and predictable spiritual versions of Top-40 music. The affection shown for the blues here is admirable, but it's just part of the overall picture. The blues originates mainly from the guitar playing, which truly smokes on the title track, "Buckets," and "Paths Glorious." It's utterly riveting. On "On and On" and "A Resting Place," Miller shows her '60s roots, wrapping Christian lyrics with psychedelic effects. "A Resting Place" almost recalls the paisley pop of the Zombies. Whatever your religious beliefs, Miller's music will earn your praise.

Kris Miller's "Alive and Well" is not your typical Christian album. Most praise and worship records have a contemporary bent, using modern commercial styles such as R&B, grunge, acoustic rock, and hip-hop to deliver inspirational, faith-based messages. Miller, though, takes a different approach.
Perhaps realizing that her raspy vocals are more suited for it, Miller envelopes herself with bluesy riffs that give the music an undeniable electric charge and surprising streetwise grit. It's quite shocking, really. Hearing Miller's lyrics about God and spirituality against such dark-tinged music is a thrilling and spellbinding experience.
She labels herself as Adult Contemporary, but Miller has more of an edge than that. The title track has superb guitar playing, transcendent blues rock that makes you want to pick up a Fender and an amp yourself. Miller's voice oddly recalls Neil Young's but with the quirky talk-singing of Joni Mitchell.
The '60s and '70s are definitely influences here, stylistically speaking. "Magical Ways" and "Whispers" lays down some sizzling funk while "On and On" touches on psychedelia.
Despite the genre hopping, it's obvious that the blues is the focus here, and it's never sounded as exhilarating as this. Wonderful album!

KRIS MILLER – ALIVE AND WELL: Contemporary Christian performer Kris Miller's 16-track debut makes a joyful noise that is characterized by blues-rock stylings, quality production and praiseful lyrics. Miller's music is already familiar to many as she has written over 500 songs that have been recorded and performed by the a cappella choir, Pure Righteousness , who have sung and recorded her songs across the nation at prisons, in churches, nursing homes, and on radio and TV. For her first record Miller has teamed with an impressive backing band who bring the songs on Alive and Well to life with a contemporary and inspired folky ethos. "River" opens the CD with a chunky, acoustic presentation that flows smoothly below Miller's joy-infused vocal delivery. "Bucket" introduces a horn section and full band sound that implores the listener to fill their buckets with praises from the river of joy and to pour them forth in blessings. "Whispers" gets a bit funky and builds to multi-voice chorus that is not as quiet as the title would imply. Miller is a California native and lifelong resident and she presents her faith in a record that grooves and moves with a uniquely West-Coast laid-back vibe. Alive and Well is a music project of a higher calling that could convert many listeners into fans of this dedicated and passionate performer!

"Alive and Well" is a collection of original songs by eclectic singer/songwriter, Kris Miller, that may be catergorized as Christian Modern and New Age Gospel music, but will appeal to a broad base of fans with open hearts and minds for it's uplifting lyrics, quality musical arrangement/production (thanks Matt Forger) as well as the positive energy of spirit the creative, buoyant emotion-filled vocals of the artist express. "Alive and Well" is a testament to the new music industry artist who may fit a specific genre in style, but writes beautiful music for both believers and non-believers, no matter your affiliation or congregation. While I recommend the "Alive and Well" cd overall, my favorite track is "Whispers of Angels Wings", a song with lyrics that are universal, music that can rock and roll you with a bluesy, soulful good time feel, and Kris's unique vocals, that express fully the spirit she feels, the love of her God, and the wisdom in crossing over borders with the language of music. With beautiful cd artwork, "Alive and Well", is an album that can joyously bring together many diverse cultures, for those "with ears to hear and eyes to see", this is a major step in the right direction for debut cd.

Thank you for the cd. I had put off ordering it but after listening to it, I see that was a big mistake. Your album is one of the most uplifting works I have ever heard. Your vocals are so original with a style that is simple, yet complex. Everyone should have the chance to hear this wonderful work of art. I would very much like to conduct a phone interview with you to discuss more of the aspects of your music. Please let me know if we could work this out.

Dear Kris,
A note of thanks to you, the Elfego heard you had a Disc with you if any one was interested. We were ever surprised how much we both liked it. When he played the Disc, I felt myself first moving to the beat of the music and I danced around the dining room till the end of the disc. Then Elfego said wow, I haven't seen you dance like that since we met, which was 10 years ago! Well we turned it up a little louder and sat in the living room to enjoy it again and listen to the words, it was great, you did an awesome job you have to let us know if you put out another Disc! We enjoy your Disc in the morning while eating our breakfast; also I find that it's a good feeling for starting the day off. Whenever we have company I ask if they would like to hear a very up lifting Disc. Then we tell them who you are and what you do. I use to love to dance to “Saturday Night ______”. But at 78 years old neither one of us, and Elfego is 74 years old we both have never danced outside of our home, we never learned to dance in our younger days. If and when you put out another disc, would you please let us know, so we can get one again. Kris thank the good Lord above for beautiful people like you and Elizabeth, we think you both are special warm and lovely people. Kris, we wish you the best with your Disc. Hope sometime to meet Elizabeth , she sounds like an angel, just how you sound on your Disc.
Good Luck & God's Blessings to you and Elizabeth.
Love,
Irene & Elfego

The songs of Pure Righteousness are given directly by the Lord God for us to sing now – in this season of His creation. When ever He is being honored and praised, He pours forth His blessings, miracles happen every where.
One time I was waiting to see an emergency room doctor. I made no sound nor did I move as I sang the song Hear O Israel inside myself. When I finished, an orderly who was near came to me and said, “That was the most beautiful song I've ever heard.”
Ten of us sisters were singing nightly in our Colorado River desert camp while most all other brothers and sisters were in the Texas area. One night we dedicated our singing to them and asked God that they may feel our love and prayers for them. In the weeks and months that followed, many came into the camp from the road witnessing of that one night when they felt our love so strongly and could actually hear our voices singing.
We declare the Lord's words in our songs. His Word never goes out void and will be heard whether it is by the ears or totally by the Spirit. Hear O Israel
The Lord our God
The Lord is One. Amen
